UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are in search of an innovative UX/UI Designer to elevate our design projects in Johannesburg. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping user experiences across web and mobile applications. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing designs that resonate with users.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
• Create documentation for design specifications and guidelines.
• Mentor junior designers and facilitate design critiques.
• Develop personas and user journey maps to identify user needs.
• Contribute to the development of the design system and style guides.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field
• Master's degree in Design is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio

Technical Skills

• User Research

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with motion design tools: Familiarity with animation and motion design tools to enhance user interfaces.
