Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

In the Nurse Practitioner role, you will undertake comprehensive patient assessments, manage patient care plans, and offer education to patients and their families. This position requires a balance of clinical knowledge and compassionate patient care to foster trust and healing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health education sessions for patients and communities.
• Assess and address social determinants impacting patient health.
• Actively participate in interprofessional team meetings.
• Provide telehealth services and support where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Support the training and development of nursing staff.
• Engage in community outreach programs to enhance health literacy.
• Foster a patient-centered approach in all interactions.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Nursing Practice is preferred
• Active membership in a professional nursing organization is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting
