You will be involved in preparing returns, advising on tax planning, and resolving tax-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the South African tax system and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement tax planning opportunities to minimize liabilities.
• Review tax provisions for compliance with accounting standards.
• Evaluate the tax impact of restructuring efforts.
• Prepare tax provision calculations and ensure proper reporting.
• Engage in multi-disciplinary projects involving taxation.
• Develop and deliver presentations on tax-related topics.
• Assist in staff training on taxation compliance and best practices.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation affecting clients.
• Cultivate relationships with government tax agencies.
• Participate in industry forums and discussion groups.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation or Finance is a plus

• 5+ years of experience in tax consulting or advisory roles
