Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our project teams in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, execution, and management, bringing expertise in managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget. You will play a key role in fostering collaboration, ensuring that our projects align with the strategic objectives of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of project management, from planning to execution.
• Maintain a strong focus on stakeholder satisfaction and project outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with teams to address project challenges effectively.
• Spearhead the development and maintenance of project documentation.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to capture learning and apply best practices.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Support the acquisition of project resources and manage team dynamics.
• Ensure effective communication of project status to all relevant parties.
• Train and mentor junior project managers within the organization.
• Drive an innovative approach to managing projects, utilizing technology and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Project Management or related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory

Experience

• 7+ years in project management roles with demonstrated success

Certifications

• Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• PRINCE2 Certification is a plus
