Job Description

We are in search of a passionate Civil Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. This role involves designing, implementing, and overseeing civil engineering projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and oversee various civil construction projects.
• Evaluate and recommend designs and materials for civil projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations.
• Implement sustainable practices in engineering design.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Liaise with clients to determine project requirements and expectations.
• Review and approve project designs and budgets.
• Assist in the procurement of project materials and services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Geotechnical Engineering
• Microsoft Project

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
