Job Description

As a pharmacist at Health Plus Pharmacy in Johannesburg, you'll dispense medications, offer expert pharmaceutical advice, and ensure the safe and effective use of drugs. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who shares our passion for improving patient health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescriptions for appropriate medication therapy.
• Educate patients on lifestyle changes to improve health outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
• Conduct medication reconciliation for hospitalized patients.
• Keep up to date with continuing education and pharmacy practices.
• Foster positive relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Engage in health promotion and disease prevention activities.
• Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean and organized.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting preferred
