Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Consultant, you'll focus on safeguarding client systems and data against potential threats. With an emphasis on risk assessment and compliance, you will provide valuable recommendations and solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client in Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities

• Develop incident response plans and protocols.
• Evaluate security technologies and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of current cybersecurity regulations.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities.
• Prepare and distribute security alerts and advisories.
• Assist with the development of business continuity plans.
• Provide technical support to clients regarding security issues.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting

Languages

• English: Fluent
