Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in Durban. In this role, you will provide high-quality healthcare services to patients, conduct physical examinations, diagnose health issues, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead patient health assessments and screenings.
  • Interpret medical history and prepare treatment plans.
  • Manage chronic disease interventions and monitoring.
  • Train and mentor nursing students and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national health regulations.
  • Advocate for patient needs and empower them in their care.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on health education.
  • Develop community outreach programs to promote wellness.
  • Utilize EMR systems for efficient patient record keeping.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Clinical Nurse Practitioner Certification preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting
