Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee various construction projects in Durban. The successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will liaise with clients, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations on construction sites.
• Ensure quality control and quality assurance practices are followed.
• Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement project change orders.
• Evaluate project performance and report on project KPIs.
• Facilitate training and development for project team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in construction project management

• Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Cost Estimation

• Time Management
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
