Job Description

We are seeking a proficient Cloud Architect to join our talented team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be adept at designing robust cloud infrastructures. You will play a pivotal role in driving our cloud initiatives, ensuring the security, performance, and scalability of our cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud solutions based on industry best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Measure and ensure security and compliance in cloud environments.
• Evaluate and integrate cloud services and technologies.
• Optimize cloud architectures for scalability and performance.
• Provide guidance and support to development teams on cloud initiatives.
• Conduct cost analysis and optimize cloud spending.
• Create documentation and develop training for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in cloud environments
