We are seeking a proficient Cloud Architect to join our talented team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be adept at designing robust cloud infrastructures. You will play a pivotal role in driving our cloud initiatives, ensuring the security, performance, and scalability of our cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage cloud architecture blueprints and designs.
• Work alongside product managers to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Design strategies to improve cloud service performance.
• Lead cloud adoption initiatives within the organization.
• Conduct regular evaluations of cloud services for cost-efficiency.
• Support development teams in deploying applications in the cloud.
• Advocate cloud technologies within the business and educate teams.
• Engage with vendors and partners for cloud services procurement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in cloud environments
