Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our Durban team. In this role, you will manage and oversee various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and local authorities, utilising your expertise to drive project success while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of project scopes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Directly supervise on-site construction teams and activities.
• Conduct quality assurance and safety audits regularly.
• Foster a positive team environment and support team development.
• Review contractor work for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Manage change orders and assess cost implications.
• Facilitate communication between project team and management.
• Prepare final project documentation and reports upon completion.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry

Certifications

• ASCE Certified Construction Manager
