Job Description

As a Hub Bander, you will be vital in ensuring the safe and secure fastening of cargo containers to the aircraft hub. This physically demanding role requires excellent attention to detail and strong adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Examine cargo containers for compliance with safety protocols.
• Effectively secure and fasten cargo for safe transport.
• Oversee the loading and unloading process for safety.
• Perform regular safety checks on machinery and tools used.
• Collaborate with unloading teams and logistics personnel to streamline operations.
• Document and manage cargo records accurately.
• Support general warehouse tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations and report discrepancies to supervisors.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
