Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

As a Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a crucial role in the coordination of our supply chain operations. Your expertise in procurement, logistics, and inventory management will be key in driving our business forward and achieving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement supply chain solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and reduce operational costs.
• Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure efficient sourcing and purchasing of materials.
• Evaluate and improve upon existing processes to increase efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance and strategy to senior management.
• Train and mentor supply chain staff to fulfil performance and development goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or logistics

Technical Skills

• Supply Chain Software (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
• Data Analysis
• Inventory Management

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles: Knowledge in applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations: Familiarity with local and international transportation regulations that affect supply chains.
