Job Description

As a Project Manager in Durban, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. You will liaise with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans and schedules to guide the project execution.
• Monitor project progress and adapt plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
• Facilitate project meetings and prepare status reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare budget estimates and manage project costs to stay within financial constraints.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration or related field
• PMP or other relevant certification preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in project management or similar role

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software (e.g. Asana, Trello)
• Microsoft Office Suite

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies: Knowledge of Agile frameworks and experience managing Agile projects.
