As a Civil Engineer with us in Cape Town, you will spearhead innovative infrastructure projects while mentoring junior engineers. Your role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering projects, leveraging cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering calculations and analyses for existing and new projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs and specifications.
• Coordinate with project team members to streamline processes.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings with stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress and recommend modifications as warranted.
• Evaluate project feasibility and participate in bid preparation.
• Conduct research to stay updated on new materials and technologies.
• Manage project documentation and technical reports to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with environmental specialists to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Facilitate communication between clients and team members regarding project progress.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects
