Medical Transport Driver

Job Description

The Medical Transport Driver is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments and facilities. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of compassion, and the ability to manage diverse situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation for patients.
• Adhere to all healthcare and transport regulations.
• Assist with patient care and handling where necessary.
• Report any incidents or issues immediately to the Operations Manager.
• Keep a detailed log of the daily activities and trips.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Participate in training and development programs as required.
• Collaborate with the medical team to improve patient transport processes.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• First Aid certificate preferred

Experience

• Experience in patient care or in the healthcare industry is an advantage.

Certifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• First Aid and CPR certification

• English: Fluent
