We are seeking a skilled Machine Fitter to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of machinery in line with engineering specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Assemble, install, and maintain complex machinery as per technical specifications.
Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment to prolong operational lifespan.
Review and recommend improvements to enhance machinery functionality.
Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all tasks.
Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve machinery-related problems.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Requirements
Education
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter or equivalent
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machine Fitter or related field.
