Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat medical and surgical conditions in animals.
  • Monitor patient recovery and adjust treatments as necessary.
  • Consult with specialists when advanced care is needed.
  • Provide compassionate care and comfort to pets and their owners.
  • Participate in clinic meetings and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Document all interactions and treatments in patient records.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Surgery or Medicine is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a veterinary practice with a focus on surgery or emergency care
