Our dental practice is looking for an experienced Dentist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dentistry and a dedication to providing quality dental care. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing procedures, and educating patients on oral health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations.
• Develop treatment plans based on patients' dental needs.
• Perform complex dental surgeries as needed.
• Advise patients on post-treatment care.
• Participate in staff training and development programs.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary care.
• Develop patient education materials for better oral health awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Specialist degree in orthodontics or oral surgery preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Cosmetic Dentistry
• Endodontics

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Orthodontic certification (if applicable)
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

• Familiarity with case management software: Comfortable with using dental case management software for record-keeping.
