Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Supervisor to lead our factory operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production processes, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and optimizing efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee factory workforce, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide guidance for continuous improvement.
• Assist in the planning and execution of production projects.
• Ensure equipment maintenance schedules are adhered to and downtime is minimized.
• Facilitate communication between production staff and upper management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring materials are available for production.
• Lead safety meetings and promote a culture of safety within the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Production Management or similar
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5-7 years in supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
