Job Description

We are looking for a Grab Jack Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will operate and maintain grab jacks to effectively load and unload cargo at various locations, ensuring all safety measures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo using grab jacks, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Implement safety protocols without fail while operating machinery.
• Help to load and secure items for transport.
• Collaborate with management and team members to achieve efficiency goals.
• Assist with inventory management as required.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment immediately.
• Be flexible to work overtime or weekends if required.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in maritime or logistics industry is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Cargo handling
• Safety procedures

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Flexibility

Certifications

• Valid grab jack operator's license
• First Aid certification (advantageous)
• Fire Fighting certification (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent
