Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity incidents while assisting in the development of security protocols and policies. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of threat analysis and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular reviews of system configurations for security compliance.
• Research and recommend new security technologies and practices.
• Collaborate with the IT department to ensure secure software development practices.
• Assist in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to security systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH)

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
