Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Textile Knitting and Weaving Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various knitting and weaving machines to produce high-quality textiles. Ideal candidates should have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate knitting and weaving machines.
• Conduct inspections of finished products for defects.
• Maintain production logs and report on daily outputs.
• Respond to and resolve production problems in real-time.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Train new operators in machine operations and safety procedures.
• Work cross-functionally with quality control teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure tools and supplies are organized and readily available.
• Report maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Diploma in Textile Technology preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in textile machinery operation

Technical Skills

• Experience with needle felting machines
• Knowledge of textile production processes

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of safety protocols in manufacturing: Familiarity with best practices for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Experience with production scheduling software: Ability to use software for tracking production inputs and outputs.
