Job Description

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing farm equipment and machinery for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently to ensure the upmost functionality of the equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance and diagnostics on farming equipment.
  • Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning parts.
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance work done.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding maintenance schedules, repairs, and other issues.
  • Assist clients in understanding equipment usage and care.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to improve service efficiency.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills.
  • Provide feedback on potential service improvements to management.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or products.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
  • Technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in equipment maintenance.
