We're on the lookout for a passionate Travel Advisor to join our vibrant team in Durban. As a Travel Advisor, you will assist clients in planning their dream holidays, offering expert guidance on destinations, accommodations, and travel experiences. You will be the go-to person for travel advice, ensuring that every client has a seamless and memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through selecting travel destinations and provide insights on local culture and attractions.
• Develop tailored vacation packages that meet the unique desires of clients.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
• Assist clients in obtaining necessary travel documents, such as visas and travel insurance.
• Prepare and present detailed travel itineraries and pricing options to clients.
• Monitor and follow up on client satisfaction after their trips to enhance service.
• Participate in travel fairs and industry events to promote services and gather leads.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Travel and Tourism

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in travel advisory or related role

Technical Skills

• GDS Systems (Amadeus, Sabre)

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Organizational Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
