Job Description

We seek a passionate and experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee our operations in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of outstanding service while managing the daily operations of the hotel. Responsibilities

  • Direct daily hotel operations with a focus on guest servicing.
  • Lead staff management initiatives including training and development.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements when necessary.
  • Establish operational plans and budgets aligned with corporate goals.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure service standards are met.
  • Engage with local businesses and community organizations to foster partnerships.
  • Drive performance improvement through effective management of hotel resources.
  • Provide leadership during peak operational periods, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with executive management on strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain an active presence in the hotel, enhancing guest experiences.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar is preferred
  • Master's degree in Hospitality Management is a plus
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in hospitality leadership roles
