Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and analyzing aerospace components and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of aerospace standards and practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop cutting-edge aerospace technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop aerospace systems specifications and requirements.
• Lead design reviews and ensure design integrity.
• Mentor junior engineers in design and analysis techniques.
• Analyze test data to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for component sourcing.
• Monitor project timelines and manage deliverables effectively.
• Stay updated with advancements in aerospace technology.
• Work with quality assurance teams to maintain high-quality standards.
• Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Support client presentations and product demonstrations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience within the aerospace sector

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Systems Engineering

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
