UI Designer / UX Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a talented UI Designer / UX Specialist to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will create engaging user experiences and visually compelling interfaces for our digital products. You will work closely with product owners and developers to integrate user-centric design principles into our application development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design workshops to foster collaborative ideation.
• Adapt designs based on user behaviour analytics.
• Document design processes for reference and training.
• Provide mentorship to junior design team members.
• Review designs and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Contribute to cross-functional team meetings to align design goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or Human-Computer Interaction
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design

Technical Skills

• Prototyping software

Certifications

• User Experience Certification (UXC)
• Google UX Design Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
