UI Designer / UX Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a talented UI Designer / UX Specialist to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will create engaging user experiences and visually compelling interfaces for our digital products. You will work closely with product owners and developers to integrate user-centric design principles into our application development.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback.
• Collaborate with developers to implement designs accurately.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas.
• Ensure consistency in branding and user experience across all platforms.
• Stay updated with emerging design trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or Human-Computer Interaction
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design

Technical Skills

• Prototyping software

Certifications

• User Experience Certification (UXC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
