Job Description

We're on the lookout for a talented Producer or Director to drive our artistic projects and ensure outstanding productions. You'll oversee the entire creative process from conception to execution, collaborating with writers, designers, and artists.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all artistic aspects of productions.
• Engage in community outreach to build relationships with local audiences.
• Organize workshops and events to promote artistic expressions.
• Coordinate with various departments to streamline production processes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of productions and make improvements where necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant degree in Theatre, Film, or Media Production

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the performing arts

Technical Skills

• Creativity and artistic vision

Soft Skills

• Cultural awareness and sensitivity

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in managing a venue or theatre: Demonstrable experience in overseeing venue operations and productions.
• Networking skills within the arts community: Strong connections in the arts industry to support collaborations and partnerships.
