Job Description

Join our team as a Public Health Specialist in Durban. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing public health programs aimed at improving community health outcomes. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and program efficacy.

Responsibilities

  • Design public health initiatives addressing community needs.
  • Monitor and report on community health trends and outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for community health workers.
  • Prepare grant proposals for funding health projects.
  • Collaborate on research projects to advance public health knowledge.
  • Advocate for health policy changes to improve community health.
  • Supervise staff and volunteers involved in health programs.
  • Participate in public forums to communicate health findings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health strongly preferred
Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in community health programs.
