Job Description

As a Public Health Officer in Cape Town, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing health programs that address public health concerns. You will collaborate with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community stakeholders to enhance health outcomes across diverse populations.

Responsibilities

  • Assess community health trends and report findings to health department management.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to implement effective health strategies.
  • Develop educational materials to disseminate public health information.

  • Conduct data collection and analysis related to public health issues.
  • Monitor public health laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in public health or community health programs
