Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist in Cape Town, you'll provide essential services including psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions. Your expertise will be vital in working collaboratively with other health professionals to support patient recovery and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic assessments and evaluations.
  • Lead individual and group psychotherapy to foster mental health.
  • Ensure effective communication within the treatment team.
  • Participate in case conferences and contribute clinical insights.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical and legal standards of practice.
  • Contribute to policy development regarding mental health services.
  • Facilitate discussions around client care with family members.
  • Implement feedback from clients to enhance service delivery.
  • Engage in professional development activities.
  • Monitor changes in client behaviour and report accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Psychology
  • HPCSA registration as a Psychologist is required
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical experience preferred
