Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic services to clients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning. You will play a critical role in promoting mental wellness and supporting individuals through their mental health journeys.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic support to individuals facing mental health challenges.
• Assess clients' mental health needs and develop appropriate interventions.
• Implement effective treatment strategies based on clinical guidelines.
• Engage with families to support clients and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Document treatment sessions and maintain confidentiality.
• Offer crisis support and interventions for clients in distress.
• Work collaboratively with community resources to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and coping strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Counseling or related field
• Professional licensure preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical role
