Job Description

As a Tax Specialist at Tax Advisors Ltd., you'll play a crucial role in offering taxation guidance and ensuring compliance with the South African tax laws. We're seeking someone with a strong analytical background in tax strategies and legislation, keen on driving our clients' success through effective tax planning.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Manage payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries.
• Handle tax compliance and reporting.
• Work closely with the finance team to implement effective financial policies.
• Assist with audits as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles

• SAGE

Certifications

• Certified Financial Planner
• SAGE Professional Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
