User Experience Researcher

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a User Experience Researcher in Durban who is passionate about understanding user behaviour and enhancing digital experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting user research, analysing data, and working closely with our design team to create intuitive and engaging interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Implement user research methodologies and strategies.
• Collect and analyse user feedback during the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate with marketing to understand user demographics and behaviours.
• Generate reports and insights based on user research.
• Mentor junior UX researchers and assist in their professional growth.
• Foster relationships with users and stakeholders to advocate for user needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Psychology, or related field
• Master's degree in UX Research or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in user experience research

• User Interviews

Certifications

• Certified User Experience Professional (CUXP)
• UX Design and Research Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of accessibility standards: Understanding of WCAG and ARIA standards to ensure accessibility.
