We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Compliance Officer to join our Pretoria office. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing tax returns, and liaising with tax authorities. Strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of South African tax laws are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate tax implications of various financial decisions.
• Advise clients on potential tax incentives and deductions.
• Prepare year-end tax reports for clients.
• Coordinate with external auditors for tax audits.
• Ensure timely payment of tax liabilities.
• Conduct risk assessments for potential tax exposures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Law or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the taxation field

Technical Skills

• Corporate Taxation

Certifications

• Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
