Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Ergonomics Engineer to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will analyze work environments and practices to create ergonomic solutions that enhance employee well-being and productivity. Your expertise will be critical in identifying risks and implementing effective ergonomic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current workplace practices and workflows for ergonomic compliance.
• Develop recommendations for ergonomic improvements and assist with their implementation.
• Engage in team discussions to promote ergonomic awareness and training.
• Coordinate with health and safety teams to align ergonomic practices with compliance standards.
• Conduct research and apply findings to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare documentation and maintain ergonomic databases.
• Lead workshops and training programs for staff on ergonomic principles and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health or Safety
• Postgraduate qualifications in Ergonomics preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in ergonomics with a focus on workplace health and safety
