Job Description

As a Pharmacist at PharmaCare Ltd., you will play a crucial role in promoting health and wellness in our community. Your responsibilities include providing medication therapy management, advising patients on proper medication use, and educating them about potential side effects. Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications and ensure accurate labeling of products.
• Provide medication counseling and patient education on proper use and potential side effects.
• Consult with healthcare professionals on medication therapy management.
• Monitor patient medications for efficacy and safety.
• Maintain accurate inventory of pharmaceuticals and manage stock levels.
• Participate in health awareness campaigns and community outreach programs.
• Train and supervise pharmacy staff and interns.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and pharmacy laws.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent degree
• Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a retail or clinical setting

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council

Languages

• English: Fluent
