We are seeking a detail-oriented Actuarial Model Analyst to join our team in Sandton. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and validating actuarial models, conducting statistical analyses, and ensuring data integrity.
Responsibilities
Design and implement new actuarial models to improve risk analysis.
Review peer reports and provide constructive feedback.
Utilize programming languages such as R or Python for model development.
Assist in preparing regulatory documents and actuarial certifications.
Monitor emerging trends in the actuarial profession and adapt accordingly.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
Master's degree or higher is a plus
Experience
3-5 years of actuarial modelling experience preferred
