As a Dentist at our Port Elizabeth practice, you will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver top-tier dental care, focusing on preventive treatments, surgeries, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive dental assessments and treatment plans.
• Ensure patient comfort during procedures.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor treatment progress.
• Utilize modern dental technology and tools.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
• Participate in continuing education programs to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry
• Completion of an internship or residency program in dentistry

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a dental practice

Technical Skills

• Periodontics
• Pediatric Dentistry

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Dental Sedation Certification (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Familiarity with practice management software: Experience with tools like Dentrix or Open Dental for managing dental practices.
• Additional languages spoken: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
