Financial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you'll harness your analytical skills to develop financial models, forecast revenues, and provide strategic insights. The ideal candidate should have a knack for crunching numbers and translating data into actionable business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand financial needs and objectives.
• Evaluate financial performance against forecasts and industry benchmarks.
• Prepare variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership.
• Identify and implement improvements to reporting and analytical processes.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis or similar roles

Technical Skills

• Data Analysis Software

Certifications

• CFA or CIMA Certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
