Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies, along with a strong understanding of software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review product requirements for testability.
• Participate actively in sprint planning and review meetings.
• Implement performance testing and security testing as required.
• Train and mentor junior QA engineers in best practices.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Document and track test results for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance are preferred.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in software testing and QA practices
