Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at Local Pharmacy Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications. You will collaborate closely with pharmacists to prepare and process prescriptions, engage with patients, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work with pharmacists to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and health professionals.
• Monitor and report any medication errors or discrepancies.
• Assist in the training of new pharmacy staff.
• Conduct medication reviews and assist with patient consultations.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
