Job Description

As a Pharmacist at Pharmacy Solutions Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. You will dispense prescriptions, provide medication counseling, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to assess their medication needs.
• Respond to medication-related inquiries from healthcare providers.
• Implement medication therapy management programs.
• Train and mentor supporting pharmacy staff.
• Stay updated on new medications and treatments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Postgraduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Pharmaceutical Compounding
• Therapeutic Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes: Understanding of drug safety and adverse event reporting.
• Experience in clinical trials: Participation in clinical trials will be an asset.
