Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient education, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the health of our community by advising patients on their medications and health management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate prescription orders for appropriateness and correctness.
• Provide patient education about medications and overall wellness.
• Ensure safe and effective medication distribution practices.
• Assist in managing pharmacy operations and workflow.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Support the implementation of patient safety initiatives.
• Conduct health screenings and assessments as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Postgraduate diploma or further studies in Pharmacy is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community or hospital pharmacy
