Seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join Health First Pharmacy. In this role, you'll oversee medication dispensing, support patient health needs, and work with a collaborative team to deliver exceptional service. Your expertise will help enhance community health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medication reviews and patient assessments.
• Provide comprehensive information about medication therapies and usage.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with medical regulations.
• Assist in formulating medication management plans for chronic conditions.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote health education.
• Support the integration of new pharmacy technologies.
• Report adverse drug reactions and medication errors promptly.
• Manage inventory, including ordering and storing medications.
• Engage in the mentorship and training of pharmacy assistants.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting

• Pharmacology

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist with SAPC
• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
