Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide quality patient consultations regarding prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Review and verify physician orders for accuracy.
• Monitor patient medication therapies and outcomes.
• Educate patients on disease management and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and pharmacy policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient care.
• Manage inventory and perform stock checks to ensure medication availability.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.
• Assist with pharmacy operational tasks as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting

• Pharmacology

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist with SAPC
• Basic Life Support Certification
