Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and products. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and improve manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review project proposals and estimates.
• Implement energy-efficient technologies within projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
• Present findings and project status reports to management.
• Support health and safety initiatives on-site.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Postgraduate qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical system design

Technical Skills

• Power Systems Analysis
• Load Flow Simulation

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in project management: Experience in overseeing electrical engineering projects to successful completion.
