As a Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the design and implementation of engineering projects in Port Elizabeth. Our ideal candidate is passionate about engineering and enjoys working in teams to solve complex issues through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical designs using CAD software.
• Analyze test results and recommend modifications.
• Work alongside project managers to align engineering objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of engineering trends.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential project challenges.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Support quality control initiatives throughout the engineering process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering

• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)

• Familiarity with ISO standards: Understanding of relevant ISO standards for quality assurance in engineering.
