UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled UX/UI Designer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. You will be pivotal in shaping the user experience across our digital platforms. The right candidate will excel in both user interface design and user experience optimization, ensuring that our products are not just functional but delightful and easy to use.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design efforts for new and existing products.
• Research industry trends and competitor products to inform design strategies.
• Utilize design software to create visually compelling graphics.
• Promote a user-centered design approach throughout the product lifecycle.
• Document design processes and user flows to share with the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Master's degree in Design is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Responsive Design Principles

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)
• Google UX Design Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with accessibility standards: Understanding of designing accessible user interfaces.
• Experience with Agile methodologies: Familiar with Agile processes and sprint planning.
