Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. As an integral part of the engineering department, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics and layout designs for projects.
• Integrate new technologies into existing electrical systems.
• Perform site inspections and audits.
• Produce comprehensive project documentation, including specification sheets and reports.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure project deliverables.
• Evaluate equipment and supplier quotations.
• Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Implement quality control measures and ensure standards are maintained.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
